Family owned and operated for over 30 years, TGC Transportation, Inc was founded by Gary and Terri Gregson. Born and raised on a family grain and livestock farm just outside of Hecker, IL, Gary developed a genuine passion for agriculture and trucking at a young age as he helped his dad load and transport livestock to market. It was during these early days that Gary developed the leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit that fuels his passion today.

As Gary's enthusiasm for trucking and agriculture continued to grow, together, Gary and Terri ventured further into the trucking industry by purchasing their first truck and hauling under the name Cletus J. Gregson Trucking in 1982.

Fast forward a couple years, they then purchased a second truck, a 1983 concord blue Conventional Kenworth (this is where the concord blue that is on our company trucks today all started).

Then in 1985, Gary and Terri were asked to assist in hauling a livestock feed bi-product to dairy farms within a 500 mile radius of St. Louis. This opportunity developed into a long term relationship that resulted in Gary and Terri being awarded a contract to continue to haul this product. With this business opportunity, together, Gary and Terri expanded their operation and officially incorporated TGC Transportation, Inc in 1988.

In the years to follow, the business continued to expand and evolve.

Today, the company operates a fleet of 15+ trucks and a team of carriers to meet the demands of current and future customers.
